Being parents of a triplets (Koh Ting Qian, Ting Yang & Yuan Yun), we were much anxious when our kids had came to the age to attend pre-school. After visiting “Goshen” Tadika Impian Harapan, we believed Goshen is the place where our children can grow in a safe, fun and comprehensive environment. Of course, the programs, teaching methods and the people are our crucial considerations as well. We entrusted Goshen program and their teachers that will be able to bring out the best to our children for the years to come.
The most challenge to me is whether my three children would be given fair opportunities to learn and grow in school. Indeed, I’m impressed that not only my children were treated equitably, but all the other pupils as well.
The school’s methods of teaching one-to-one correspondence had helped our children to build a very strong foundation in their reading and language development. Our children not only have good interest in reading storybook; and most importantly, they can read independently and always keen to read and learn more. This is a convincing proof that Ms. Kong, the founder had quoted “No any child does not like to read”.
Besides the balanced three languages (English, BM and Chinese) academics program, Goshen enhances grooming pupils’ characteristics as well. Junior and senior students were taking turn to be the class monitor that would help them to develop responsibility and self-confidence. In addition, my children were trained to tell stories and share with the classmates after reading from their weekly library books given. I believe not every pupil would have any chance to play role during pre-school years.
Furthermore, this kindergarten has also input various interesting activities which strengthen our children physical, emotional and spiritual grooming. For instance, experiencing real-life grocery shopping that helped the kids to understand the importance of planning and spending power.
Our eldest son Ting Qian, was an introvert and timid boy when first joined the kindergarten; however, he has changed gradually in interacting with people; and nowadays he can socialize confidently.
Our second son Ting Yang, a cheerful and caring boy; whenever school holidays, he will always tell us that he misses his friends and teachers, so he can’t wait for the school to open. He also mentioned how much the teachers love and care for him in school.
The youngest of our triplets Yuan Yun, a lovely bashful girl, she had showed us a very great improvement in her language and interests. She is always able to read by herself and like to tell stories to others. She has high interest in her drawing, music and performances as well in school and at home. To our surprise, she even tried to compose songs on her own.
Seeing our triplets growing happily, as parents, we feel so proud to be a part of their precious childhoods. Our children are so blessed to have a group of dedication teachers, principal and also the founder for her wonderful pre-school programs. We sincerely thank to all the Goshen members for all these meaningful and memorable years for our children. Thank you.
